Health and fitness tech founder podcasts lineup including Business Daily, FoundMyFitness, Founders, World Business Report, Tech Life, Lenny’s Podcast, and Y Combinator.

What I Listen to Each Week as a Tech Founder

I don’t listen to podcasts to be entertained. I listen to them to stay oriented.

Each week, I rotate through a small set of podcasts that help me maintain a high-level understanding of what’s going on in the world, how business and technology are evolving, and where things might be heading next.

Staying grounded at a meta level

Shows like World Business Report and Business Daily are my way of zooming out.
They help me understand the broader economic, political, and business context: markets, geopolitics, industry shifts, and second-order effects. This isn’t about tactics. It’s about context. These podcasts help me see the landscape I’m operating in.

Founder and product depth

For more specific founder and technology insight, I lean on Y Combinator Startup Podcast and Lenny’s Podcast.
These are more technical and execution-oriented: how products are built, how companies scale, how founders think about AI, growth, teams, and systems. They help me stay close to how things are actually being built right now.

Tech awareness without tunnel vision

I also enjoy Tech Life. It’s broader, less tactical, but useful to stay aware of how technology is affecting society, work, and human behavior. It keeps me curious without locking me into founder-only thinking.

Health, performance, and longevity

To stay up to date with evidence-based health and fitness research, I listen to FoundMyFitness. It helps me stay informed on physiology, performance, longevity, and emerging research, which directly feeds into how I think about training, recovery, and long-term health.

Learning from those who shaped the world

Health and fitness tech founder podcasts lineup featuring Business Daily, FoundMyFitness, Founders, World Business Report, Tech Life, Lenny’s Podcast, and Y Combinator.

Finally, Founders is about studying the lives and decisions of founders who shaped the world we live in today. It’s a reminder that long-term impact comes from focus, conviction, and sustained execution, not trends or shortcuts.

Why this matters to me

Listening to this mix helps me connect dots:
how macro trends influence technology, how technology reshapes business, and how business decisions ripple into society. Over time, this way of consuming information has shaped not just how I build, but also how I invest. Many of my investment decisions in markets and individual stocks have been influenced by patterns and themes I kept hearing repeated across these conversations.

For me, these podcasts aren’t background noise. They’re a way to stay oriented, think long-term, and understand how things are interlinked while I build.

For deep thinkers, creators, and curious minds. One post. Zero noise.
